Legburn

Everything Legburn does

What works today at app.legburn.com, what's built and waiting for its server, and what comes later.

What it does today

ERG · SIM

Ways to ride

ERG holds the power you set, whatever your cadence, and eases off if you stop pedalling. SIM turns a road grade into resistance, so a 6 % climb feels like one, and 24 virtual gears make the pedals heavier or lighter, as on the road.

W · rpm · bpm

The Ladder screen

Power big in the middle, your target on a ladder of rungs, and zone colours once you set your FTP. It reads from a metre or three away on a laptop, tablet or phone.

1 s

Every second, saved on your device

The ride is written to your browser's own storage once a second. Reload the page mid-ride and you can carry on where you stopped. Nothing is uploaded, and you don't need an account.

3D

3D sim mode

Swap the numbers for a rider on a road in the middle of a ride, and swap back. On My rider you dress them: kit pattern and colours, helmet, bike, skin tone and height.

5 routes

Routes

Five original courses, from a flat loop to an 11 km climb to a summit. The road ahead comes from the course, and in SIM the trainer follows its grade at the difficulty you pick.

FTP

Workouts and FTP tests

Structured workouts steer ERG step by step: nine built in, .erg and .mrc files in and out, intensity from 50 to 150 %, and one lap per step in the .FIT. A ramp test and a 20-minute test suggest your FTP.

↻

Devices that come back

Legburn remembers your trainer, strap and controller. After a reload, one key reconnects them in order, and the buttons on a supported handlebar controller start, pause and shift.

.FIT

Rides, charted and exported

Each ride opens to a summary: power, heart rate and cadence on one chart and a minute-by-minute table. Export it as a .FIT file for whichever training log you use.

1 s → 2 h

Progress over time

Every ride is analysed as it ends: load, time in zones and a power curve. The Progress tab shows your weeks, fitness and fatigue, records and FTP history, and offers to raise your FTP when your rides say so.

Z1–Z7

Lights that follow your zone

Your room's Philips Hue lights take the colour of your power zone, dim when you pause and go back to how they were after the ride. The browser talks to your bridge directly, with no extra account.

♪

Spotify on the ride screen

See what's playing on your phone, computer or speaker, and skip, pause or change the volume without leaving the ride. Needs Spotify Premium.

Offline

Installs like an app

Install Legburn from Chrome or Edge and it opens in a window of its own. It loads without a network connection, too.

On its way

Built and waiting for their server, and further out.

Built, waiting for the server

Built

An optional cloud

Sign in with an email link or Google to keep your rides on every device and find other riders' profiles. It stays off unless you turn it on, and the ride never waits for the network.

Built

Group rides

Share a room code and see everyone's live power, cadence, heart rate and distance, with a shared countdown to start.

Built

Rides sent to Strava

Link Strava to your Legburn account, then send a ride from its summary or have every new ride sent for you, as a virtual ride. Legburn only writes to Strava, never reads from it.

Later

Real climbs and roads from your own .FIT files, button remapping, a video view for workouts, your workouts on every device, an AI coach, and native apps for iPhone, iPad and Android.

What you need

Chrome or Edge on a desktop or laptop
Legburn talks to your devices over Web Bluetooth, which Safari and Firefox don't have. iPhone and iPad wait for the native apps.
A smart trainer that speaks Bluetooth FTMS
FTMS is the standard Bluetooth protocol for fitness machines, and most recent smart trainers support it.
A Bluetooth heart-rate strap, if you like
Optional. Everything else works without one.

Where it's at

Legburn is a hobby project in early development. You can try it at app.legburn.com: ERG and SIM with virtual gears, the Ladder screen, routes, structured workouts and FTP tests, recording and .FIT export, Progress, 3D sim mode with your own rider, Hue lights and Spotify controls work today. The optional cloud, group rides and Strava are built and wait for their server.
